Sometimes the right choice is not to cancel a dream trip, but to move it. Portugal Magik's travel credit option can preserve eligible amounts for up to five years, allowing time to choose a more suitable travel period.
A longer horizon for new plans
Eligible travel credit remains valid for up to five years. This is intended to remove the pressure to select a replacement date immediately when family, health, work or flight plans are still uncertain.
When full travel credit is available
The Booking Terms allow 100% of eligible service amounts to be held as travel credit for cancellations made between 90 days and 7 days before the trip. More than 90 days before travel, you can choose this credit instead of an eligible full refund. Between 90 and 30 days, full credit is available as an alternative to a 50% refund.
How to use the credit
When you are ready to travel, contact Portugal Magik with the original booking details and your preferred new period. The replacement service is subject to availability, and the team will confirm how the credit applies to the revised itinerary.

Flight and weather protection
The five-year credit also supports eligible unused amounts when a flight is delayed or cancelled, or when weather and unforeseen events prevent an affected service from operating. The team first tries to adjust, replace or reschedule the service whenever possible.
