Private Porto City Tours and Port Wine Lodges

City

Porto rewards travelers who slow down. The city is small enough to walk but layered enough to spend three days in without repeating yourself. Our Porto experiences are private, paced for adults, and built around the things the city does better than anywhere else: river, food, port wine, and the curve of the Ribeira at sunset.

Half day or full day private city tour

Ribeira, Bolsa Palace, São Bento, Clérigos, Lello, and the riverside walk across the Dom Luís I Bridge. Private vehicle, private guide or driver guide, your pace.

Port wine lodge tastings

Cross the bridge into Vila Nova de Gaia and visit one or two of the great port houses with curated tastings. We avoid the touristy mass lodges and lean toward the ones that still feel personal.

Combined Porto plus Douro

Many guests pair a Porto city day with a private Douro Valley day. The two together are the perfect three day frame for the north of Portugal.

Private boat options

Optional add on of a private boat segment on the Douro river, away from the standard rabelo cruises.

Dinner reservations on request

We are happy to recommend and reserve dinner at the city's best restaurants, from a quiet seafood counter to a chef driven tasting menu.

FAQ

How many days do I need in Porto?

Two full days minimum. Three is ideal if you want to include the Douro Valley.

Which port lodges do you visit?

We rotate among a curated short list of family run and mid sized houses, chosen for the quality of the tasting and the calm of the cellars.

Can the driver also be the guide?

For most city tours yes. For deep historical visits we recommend a separately licensed walking guide on top of the driver.

Do you operate from Lisbon to Porto as well?

Yes, including scenic transfers with stops in Coimbra or Óbidos along the way.
