9-Day Private Portugal Wine Tour, Douro, Alentejo and Setúbal by Mercedes
Three wine regions, nine days, one private Mercedes and one driver who knows every Quinta on the route.
Portugal produces more distinct wine styles per square kilometre than almost any country on earth. Vinho Verde in the north. Tawny Port in the Douro. Alentejo's big reds from the baked interior plains. Setúbal's muscatel from the slopes above the Atlantic. A wine-focused Portugal tour does not visit a single region, it connects them.
Portugal Magik's 9-day wine itinerary is designed for guests who want to go beyond the tasting room. Private Quinta access, conversations with winemakers who do not normally see tour groups, and a driver who understands that the best wine experiences happen when the itinerary is slow enough to let them unfold.

Frequently asked questions
What are the three main wine regions in Portugal for a private tour?
The Douro Valley (Port and Douro table wines), the Alentejo (bold reds and modern whites), and Vinho Verde / Minho in the north are the most visited. Portugal Magik's wine tour also includes Setúbal and Bairrada for guests wanting a comprehensive picture.
Do the Quinta visits on the wine tour require advance booking?
Yes. Portugal Magik pre-arranges all Quinta visits before departure. Private access is confirmed as part of the itinerary planning process.
How many wine tastings are included in the 9-day wine tour?
The standard itinerary includes 4 to 6 formal tasting sessions across the different wine regions. We schedule one winery per day to give each visit the time it deserves.
Can I bring wine home from the Quinta visits on a Portugal private tour?
Yes. Portugal Magik vehicles have luggage capacity for wine purchases. The driver can also advise on shipping arrangements for larger quantities.
