Day by day

1. Day 1 — Arrival in Algarve & Coastal Serenity
   Morning: Welcome to Portugal! Upon arrival at Faro Airport (Flight UA281 at 9:50 AM), the group of 5 will meet our guide and take a private transfer directly to your rental villa in São Rafael, Albufeira to check in and unpack. Afternoon: Set out on a relaxed half-day coastal tour. You will head over to the picturesque town of Carvoeiro and enjoy a scenic walk along the cliffside paths and unique rock formations of Algar Seco.
2. Day 2 — Relaxation & Local Delights in Algarve
   Morning: Travel east to explore the historic capital of the Algarve. Take a guided walk through Faro's quiet, cobblestoned old town (Cidade Velha) and see its historic gateway arches and plazas. Afternoon: Venture out to experience the stunning landscapes of the surrounding Ria Formosa Natural Park. You will enjoy a scenic exploration of this protected coastal lagoon system, taking in its peaceful waterways, rich birdlife, and beautiful, untouched barrier islands. (Up to 8 hours of total guiding/touring for the day).
3. Day 3 — Algarve Golf Day
   Enjoy a round of golf, for 3 people, at Quinta do Lago course, perfectly blending natural beauty with refined leisure. The tee time is set for 11:30 AM.
4. Day 4 — Algarve at Your Pace: Leisure and Further Discoveries
   Morning: Discover the peaceful eastern Algarve with a visit to Tavira. Walk across its old Roman bridge and explore the ruins of its Moorish castle, which houses a beautiful hilltop garden. Afternoon: Drive right up to the Spanish border to visit Vila Real de Santo António. Walk through its grand, symmetrical grid-pattern streets and enjoy a peaceful stroll along the banks of the Guadiana River. (Up to 8 hours of total guiding/touring for the day).
5. Day 5 — Algarve Hidden Gems & Culinary Discovery
   Morning: Head west to the historic maritime town of Lagos. Discover its charming old town center and take in the views of the famous, golden rock pillars and sea arches at Ponta da Piedade. Afternoon: Continue to the rugged, dramatic coastline of Sagres. Explore the wind-swept area and stand overlooking the massive Atlantic cliffs at Cape Saint Vincent, historically known as the end of the world. (Up to 8 hours of total guiding/touring for the day).
6. Day 6 — Algarve Leisure, Family Members arrival and Golf
   Morning: The travel party expands to 7 guests! Brittany and Travis arrive at Lisbon Airport (Flight UA64 at 8:20 AM) and take a private transfer south to join the group. Meanwhile, the rest of the family can enjoy a slow morning at the villa. Afternoon: Golf at Palmares Ocean Living and Golf
7. Day 7 — Algarve Full Day Boat Tour
   Today, embrace the allure of the Algarve coast with a captivating full-day boat tour, revealing the stunning sea caves and unique rock formations that define this magnificent region. Spend the morning gliding across azure waters, discovering hidden coves and sun-drenched beaches accessible only by sea. Afterward, enjoy a leisurely afternoon, perhaps relaxing poolside at your accommodation or strolling along a picturesque coastal path, soaking in the serene beauty of the Algarve at your own pace.
8. Day 8 — Journey to Lisbon & Gastronomic Delights
   Morning: Your private vehicle collects the group of 7 and all luggage to travel north. Stop halfway in the golden plains of the Alentejo region to explore the UNESCO city of Évora, visiting the ancient Roman Temple and the grand medieval Cathedral. (Estimated driving time: 2 hours from the Algarve to Évora). Afternoon: Visit the unique, bone-lined walls of the Chapel of Bones, followed by a traditional local lunch at an authentic Alentejo restaurant. Complete the final leg of your private transfer to the Bairro Alto Hotel in Lisbon. (Estimated driving time: 1 hour 30 minutes from Évora to Lisbon. 11. Day 11 — Scenic Transfer to Porto via Coimbra
    Your Portuguese adventure continues as you travel north to Porto. En route, you'll stop in Coimbra, the nation's historic university city, to explore its storied halls and magnificent library before arriving in the capital of the north.
