Day by day

1. Day 1 — Welcome to Lisbon
   Upon your arrival at Lisbon's Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS), your private driver will be waiting to welcome you to Portugal. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to acclimatize and perhaps take a gentle stroll to a local restaurant for your first taste of Portuguese cuisine.
2. Day 2 — Historic Lisbon: Alfama & Belém
   Today is dedicated to discovering Lisbon's most iconic districts. You'll journey back to the Age of Discoveries in Belém, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and wander through the ancient, labyrinthine streets of the Alfama district, crowned by São Jorge Castle.
3. Day 3 — Sintra's Fairytale Palaces & Coastal Grandeur
   Embark on a magical day trip to the enchanting hills of Sintra, a place of myth and legend dotted with whimsical palaces. The afternoon takes you to Europe's westernmost edge before returning via the elegant coastal town of Cascais.
4. Day 4 — Templar Knights & an Ancient University
   Journeying north, today you'll step back in time to the era of the Knights Templar in Tomar. Afterwards, continue to Coimbra, the historical home of Portugal's most prestigious university, and soak in its centuries-old academic traditions.
5. Day 5 — Scenic Roads to the Douro Wine Region
   Today's scenic drive takes you from the historic city of Coimbra into the breathtaking landscapes of the Douro Valley. You'll witness the scenery transform into rolling hills covered in terraced vineyards as you enter the world's first demarcated wine region.
6. Day 6 — The Soul of the Douro: Vineyards, Vistas & River
   Immerse yourself fully in the beauty and flavors of the Douro Valley. This day is dedicated to experiencing the region's world-famous wines, enjoying a private perspective from the river, and capturing unforgettable views from scenic lookouts.
7. Day 7 — Journey to Porto, the 'Invincible City'
   Leaving the Douro Valley behind, today's journey takes you west to Porto, Portugal's vibrant second city. Upon arrival, you'll get your first taste of this historic and industrious capital of the north.
8. Day 8 — Porto's Colors & Port Wine Legacy
   Discover the vibrant soul of Porto, from its UNESCO-listed historic center to the legendary Port wine cellars across the river in Gaia. Explore architectural marvels, lively districts, and taste the wine that made the city famous.
9. Day 9 — Medieval Wonders & Coastal Legends
   Traveling south from Porto, today you will visit two of central Portugal's most iconic locations. You'll walk the walls of a perfectly preserved medieval town and witness the site of the world's biggest waves before returning to Lisbon for the evening.
10. Day 10 — Farewell Portugal
    After a final Portuguese breakfast and, depending on your flight schedule, perhaps some last-minute souvenir shopping, your private driver will transfer you to Lisbon Airport (LIS) for your departure, filled with memories of your journey through Portugal.
