   We travel east today into the heart of the Alentejo, a vast region of rolling plains, cork forests, and vineyards. You'll discover Évora, a UNESCO-listed city with a rich Roman and medieval past, and indulge in the region's celebrated wines with a tasting at a prestigious estate.
5. Day 5 — Independent Journey to Porto & Cruise Embarkation
   Today is for your independent travel from Lisbon to Porto. As per your plan, you will journey by train to embark on your Douro River cruise. Your Portugal Magik services will resume upon your disembarkation in Porto at the end of your cruise.
6. Day 6 — Scenic Douro River Cruise
   This day is part of your independent river cruise itinerary. Enjoy the scheduled sights and experiences as you begin your sail through the stunning, vineyard-terraced landscapes of the Douro Valley.

    Discover the soul of Porto today, from the stunning tilework of São Bento Station to the bustling city center. The highlight is a visit to a prestigious Port wine cellar in Vila Nova de Gaia for a tour and tasting of this world-famous fortified wine.
14. Day 14 — Arouca Geopark & The Paiva Walkways
    Embark on an adventurous full-day trip to the Arouca Geopark, a natural wonderland. You will have the chance to traverse the spectacular Paiva Walkways, a wooden boardwalk that clings to the cliffs of the Paiva River, and cross the thrilling 516 Arouca suspension bridge.
15. Day 15 — Departure from Porto
    On the day of your departure, your private driver will provide a seamless and comfortable transfer from your hotel in Porto to Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO) for your flight home.
