Upon arrival at Lisbon Airport (LIS), your private driver will welcome you for a smooth transfer to your hotel. A comfortable morning drive brings us to Porto, Portugal's vibrant second city. After checking into your hotel, we will explore the colourful and historic Ribeira district, a UNESCO World Heritage site. An optional gentle Six Bridges cruise on the Douro River offers wonderful views in a relaxed manner. - Day 8 — Porto’s Treasures & Port Wine
Discover more of Porto's highlights today. We visit the São Francisco Church, famed for its lavish gold-leaf interior, and see the famous Lello Bookstore. We then cross the river to Vila Nova de Gaia to visit a renowned Port wine cellar for an informative tour and a tasting of this famous fortified wine. - Day 9 — The Enchanting Douro Valley
Today is a full-day scenic journey into the heart of the Douro Valley, the world's first demarcated wine region. We will drive along winding roads with breathtaking views of the terraced vineyards sloping down to the river. The day includes a visit to a traditional 'Quinta' (wine estate) for a tour and a final wine tasting. - Day 10 — Departure
