Day by day

1. Day 1 — The Canals of Aveiro & Journey to Belmonte
   Your private journey begins as we depart from Porto. The first stop is the charming coastal city of Aveiro, known as the 'Venice of Portugal,' where you'll admire the colourful Moliceiro boats gliding along its canals. Afterwards, we travel inland to the historic and peaceful village of Belmonte, a place rich in Jewish heritage, where you will settle in for the evening.
2. Day 2 — Belmonte's Heritage & the Medieval Walls of Sortelha
   Discover the unique history of Belmonte, exploring its medieval streets and the beautifully preserved Jewish Quarter, a testament to a resilient community that survived for centuries. In the afternoon, step back in time with a visit to Sortelha, one of Portugal’s most enchanting and authentic medieval villages, encased within ancient walls.
3. Day 3 — The Boulder Village of Monsanto & Arrival in Tomar
   Today's adventure takes you to the extraordinary village of Monsanto, famously built amongst giant granite boulders. Explore the fortress ruins at the top of the hill for breathtaking views before we continue our journey to the historic city of Tomar, the last seat of the Knights Templar in Portugal.
4. Day 4 — Tomar and the Legacy of the Knights Templar
   Immerse yourself in the world of the Knights Templar with a full day dedicated to their stronghold. You will explore the magnificent Convent of Christ, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and Tomar's charming old town. Later, a captivating short boat trip takes you to the stunning Almourol Castle, a fairytale fortress rising from a tiny island in the Tagus River.
5. Day 5 — Coastal Nazaré & The Walled Town of Óbidos
   Your final day blends coastal drama with medieval charm. We travel to the fishing town of Nazaré to witness the dramatic cliffs and learn about its legendary giant waves. Afterwards, we will explore the incredibly well-preserved walled town of Óbidos, tasting its famous cherry liqueur before your comfortable private transfer to your hotel in Lisbon, arriving around 5-6 PM.
