Back on land, the drive follows the panoramic roads above Pinhao and Peso da Regua, with stops at viewpoints where the whole valley opens in front of you. In the afternoon you are welcomed at a family run quinta for a Douro wine tasting, walking the cellars and the vines and tasting the regional wines and Ports where they are made. There is time to enjoy the grounds and the views before the day closes.
