Day by day

1. Day 1 — Arrival in Porto & The Canals of Aveiro
   Upon your morning arrival at Porto Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your private driver-guide. We'll travel south to the charming city of Aveiro, known as the 'Venice of Portugal,' to explore its scenic canals. Afterwards, we visit the vibrant, candy-striped houses of Costa Nova before continuing to your hotel in Porto for a relaxing evening.
2. Day 2 — Exploring Porto, the "Invincible City"
   Today is dedicated to discovering the heart and soul of Porto. We will explore the city's most iconic landmarks, from the intricate tilework of São Bento Station to the bustling riverside Ribeira district. The day is paced for your family to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and stunning views across the Douro River.
3. Day 3 — Pilgrimage, Giant Waves & Medieval Walls
   Leaving Porto, our journey south includes several of Portugal's most famous sites. We will make a brief, respectful visit to the Sanctuary of Fátima. Next, we travel to the coast to witness Nazaré, famed for its giant waves and the legendary Sítio headland. The day concludes with a stroll through the enchanting medieval walled town of Óbidos before we arrive at your base in Cascais.
4. Day 4 — Sintra's Fairytale Palaces & Europe's Edge
   Experience a day of pure enchantment with a trip to the magical hills of Sintra. We will visit the breathtaking Pena Palace, a masterpiece of Romanticist architecture. After exploring Sintra's historic village, we travel to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe, before returning along the scenic coastline to Cascais.
5. Day 5 — Lisbon: The Age of Discoveries
   Today we explore Portugal's capital, Lisbon. Our focus is on the historic Belém district, a UNESCO World Heritage site and testament to the Age of Discoveries. We will then journey into the heart of the city to explore the ancient, winding streets of the charismatic Alfama district.
6. Day 6 — Tomar and the Knights Templar Legacy
   Departing from Cascais, we journey inland to the historic town of Tomar. Here, we'll explore the magnificent Convent of Christ, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the former headquarters of the Knights Templar in Portugal.
7. Day 7 — Alentejo Flavors & The Journey to the Algarve
   We'll discover Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage city, see its impressive Roman Temple and the intriguing Chapel of Bones. The experience will be complemented by a wine tasting at a respected local estate before we continue our journey south through the scenic cork oak landscapes to the Algarve coast.
8. Day 8 — Algarve's Golden Coast
   A final day dedicated to the spectacular natural beauty of the Algarve's coastline. We will explore the charming town of Carvoeiro and the dramatic cliffs and rock formations of Ponta da Piedade.
