Day by day

1. Day 1 — Welcome to Lisbon: Private Airport Arrival

   Today, four members of your group will embark on a captivating half-day tour of Lisbon's most historic neighborhoods. Your guide will unveil the city's layered history, from the maritime glory of Belém to the ancient, winding streets of Alfama, providing a perfect introduction to the capital. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure.
3. Day 3 — Faith & Knights Templar: Fátima and Tomar
   Journey into Portugal's spiritual and historical heartland. This full-day tour begins at the world-renowned Sanctuary of Fátima, a major Catholic pilgrimage site. Afterwards, delve into the mysterious history of the Knights Templar with a visit to their formidable headquarters in Tomar, the Convent of Christ, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
4. Day 4 — Fairytale Sintra & Coastal Cascais
   Discover the enchanting town of Sintra, a longtime sanctuary for Portuguese royalty. You'll explore the whimsical Pena Palace, perched atop the Sintra mountains. Following this, enjoy a scenic drive to the elegant coastal town of Cascais for a brief, delightful wine tasting before returning to Lisbon in the early afternoon.
5. Day 5 — Scenic Journey to Porto via Óbidos & Nazaré
   Leaving Lisbon behind, today's journey takes you north to Porto. The first stop is the incredibly well-preserved medieval walled town of Óbidos. Afterwards, continue to the dramatic coastal village of Nazaré, famous for its giant waves and fishing traditions, before arriving in Porto, Portugal's vibrant second city.
6. Day 6 — The Essence of Porto
   Immerse yourselves in the unique atmosphere of Porto. This tour covers the city's most important landmarks, from the stunning azulejo-tiled São Bento Station to the bustling Ribeira district along the Douro River. The day culminates with a visit to a prestigious Port wine cellar for a tasting of this world-famous fortified wine.
7. Day 7 — Return to Lisbon via Coastal Aveiro
   Begin your comfortable journey back to Lisbon with a delightful detour to Aveiro. Known as the 'Venice of Portugal,' this colourful city is famed for its canals, Art Nouveau architecture, and traditional Moliceiro boats. After some time to explore and taste the local 'ovos moles' sweet, you'll continue on to your hotel in Lisbon.
8. Day 8 — A Day at Leisure in Lisbon
   Today is yours to explore Lisbon at your own pace. You may wish to revisit a favourite spot, browse the elegant shops of Chiado, ride the historic Tram 28, or simply relax at a café with a view. Your driver-guide service is not included for this day, allowing for complete freedom to discover the city's charms independently.
9. Day 9 — Roman Legacy: A Morning in Évora
   Travel into the heart of the Alentejo region for a half-day exploration of Évora, a beautifully preserved city and a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will discover millennia of history, from a stunningly intact Roman Temple to the thought-provoking Chapel of Bones, before a comfortable return to Lisbon by mid-afternoon.
10. Day 10 — Departure from Lisbon
    On the final day of your Portuguese journey, enjoy a leisurely morning. At the pre-arranged time, your private driver will meet you at your accommodation for a comfortable and timely transfer to Lisbon Airport (LIS) for your departure flight, filled with cherished memories of your family's adventure.
