Day by day

  1. Day 1 — Porto Late Evening Arrival & Welcome
    Upon your late evening arrival at Porto Airport (OPO) on October 11th, your private driver will be waiting to welcome you. We will provide a smooth and comfortable transfer to your hotel, allowing you to settle in and anticipate the exciting journey ahead.
  2. Day 2 — Porto's Historic Grandeur & Cultural Immersion
    Today is dedicated to exploring the vibrant city of Porto. We'll delve into its historic heart, an UNESCO World Heritage site, admiring the iconic Dom Luis I Bridge, stopping by the Sao Bento Train Station to see its magnificent tile panels, and exploring the bustling Ribeira district along the river.
  3. Day 3 — Braga's Sacred Sites & Guimaraes's Royal Roots
    Journey north for a day steeped in history. We'll explore Braga, Portugal's religious heart, home to the country's oldest cathedral and the impressive Bom Jesus do Monte sanctuary. We'll then travel to Guimaraes, the birthplace of Portugal, where you can wander the grounds of its medieval castle and soak in the historic atmosphere of its preserved town square.
  4. Day 4 — Journey into the Douro Valley's Wine Country
    Depart from Porto and journey into the stunning, vine-covered landscapes of the Douro Valley, an UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy the scenic drive along winding roads with breathtaking views of the river and its terraced a vineyard. The day will be highlighted by a local wine tasting at a traditional quinta, offering a true taste of the region's famous wines.
  5. Day 5 — From Douro to Obidos via Coimbra & Nazare
    A day of diverse landscapes as we travel south. Our first stop is Coimbra, home to one of Europe's oldest universities. We’ll then head to the coast to witness the dramatic cliffs and giant waves of Nazare, with a scenic stop in the charming seaside spot of Sao Pedro de Moel. The day concludes in the beautifully preserved medieval town of Obidos, where you will overnight.
  6. Day 6 — Medieval Obidos, Coastal Cascais & Arrival in Lisbon
    Spend the morning exploring the charming walled town of Obidos, with its cobbled streets and whitewashed houses. Afterwards, we'll journey south to the elegant coastal town of Cascais, once a humble fishing village and now a chic seaside resort. From there, we will proceed to Lisbon, arriving at your hotel by evening with time to relax.
