Experience the region by river and taste its renowned produce. Today belongs to the Douro Valley, where terraced vineyards drop down to the river in slow, ordered lines. In the morning you step aboard a private 1-hour boat trip on the Douro River, gliding past the quintas that have shaped this landscape for centuries and seeing the valley the way it was first opened up, from the water.
