Day by day

1. Day 1 — Arrival in Lisbon & its Sephardic Soul
   Upon your arrival at Lisbon Airport, your private driver/guide will be waiting to welcome you. You will be transferred to your hotel to settle in before embarking on an exploration of Alfama, the city’s ancient heart and historic Jewish quarter. The winding, cobbled streets hold centuries of stories, culminating in breathtaking views from the city's highest vantage points.
2. Day 2 — Mystical Sintra & the Atlantic Coast
   Today is dedicated to the fairytale landscapes of Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will visit the breathtaking Pena Palace, a masterpiece of Romanticist architecture, and have time to explore the historic village. The journey continues to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe, and the charming coastal town of Cascais before returning to Lisbon.
3. Day 3 — Tomar's Templar Legacy & the Jewish Heart of Belmonte
   Leaving Lisbon, you'll journey north to explore Tomar's magnificent Convent of Christ and its beautifully preserved 15th-century Synagogue. Afterwards, the tour continues to Belmonte, the most significant center of crypto-Judaism in Portugal. Here you'll discover the incredible story of a community that preserved its faith in secret for centuries.
4. Day 4 — Trancoso's Jewish Past & the Border of Peace
   Today you will explore the historic walled town of Trancoso, known for its significant Jewish quarter and deep medieval roots. Then, the journey continues to Vilar Formoso to visit the 'Fronteira da Paz' (Frontier of Peace) memorial, which honors the actions of Aristides de Sousa Mendes, the Portuguese consul who saved thousands of refugees, many of them Jewish, during WWII.
5. Day 5 — Castelo de Vide's Sephardic Charm & Marvão's Heights
   Journeying south into the beautiful Alentejo region, you will explore Castelo de Vide, a town renowned for its well-preserved Jewish quarter and ancient synagogue. Afterwards, ascend to the formidable walled village of Marvão, perched dramatically on a granite crag, offering breathtaking views across the plains before continuing to the historic city of Evora.
6. Day 6 — Historic Evora, Monsaraz & Departure
   Your final day begins with an exploration of Evora, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you can see the Roman Temple and the intriguing Chapel of Bones. You will then visit the stunning fortified hilltop village of Monsaraz before making the journey back to Lisbon. At the designated time, your private driver will provide a comfortable and timely transfer to Lisbon Airport (LIS) for your departure flight.
